OCL1418S

 Its projecting, and its improved evenness of response with accurate intonation will give pure satisfaction to musician at the professional level. Every clarinet receives a professionally set-up and assembly in our Australian workshop prior to distribution.

The Body

The OCL1418S body brings high grade natural African Ebony properties, singing harmonious tones with a warm response.  Our ebony are naturally dried for over twenty years to ensure stability, and to pass our quality check. 

The clarinet is paired with two sets of barrels to provide the player with options during performances.  The biggest advancement with the OCL1418S is our bore structure.

 

New Bore Setting

 

An improved feature of the 1418S compared to the 1480S is the main construction of the clarinet. The 1418S’s polycylindrical bore is highly sought after for it’s darker and focused sound, compared to the traditional offering a rounder and sweeter tone.

Double Barrels

Included in the case is two African Ebony barrels with silver rings, in 65mm and 66mm. 

 

18 Keys

The additional Eb/Ab lever on the 1418S makes fingering combinations involving both fourth fingers much easier. 

 

Other Key Features

Leather pads are used for durability as well as a superior tone. Adjustable thumb rest feature. Comes in a classic traditional style wooden carry case.
